I believe  that within every one of us is a wise, kind, compassionate, resilient and “embodied self” that knows how to heal and flourish.

I believe that my role in counselling/therapy with clients is about helping people to walk themselves back home physically, emotionally and spiritually.  To live in a “felt sense” of wholeness not perfections, of dynamic interaction with their world not in a sense of playing a part but truly being a part of the tapestry of being and living on the planet.
Effective counselling/therapy involves on my behalf a being with my clients, not a position of dominance.

A standing with, listening to, attending to, seeing a person, being authentic, and noticing clients body language and physical state as insight into their emotional being. I believe  that within every one of us is a wise, kind, compassionate, resilient and “embodied self” that knows how to heal and flourish. The basic need is to be seen, felt and heard. And to know there is a place for all your lived experience to have space, validity and respect.
Here at “at the barn counselling” the motto is “come as you are”.  We look forward to meeting you.
